People make me so angry. I see you walk away when you are annoyed. Does that work for you?
Yes! I usually walk away when I am unable to control my emotions or behaviors. If I can’t control my emotions I may bark or start chewing on furniture. This usually results in me getting into trouble. To avoid being disciplined I have learned to walk away from situations that are challenging for me. For humans I have noticed that people will walk away when they want to yell or say something they may regret. When humans raise their voice at one another, I have witnessed the person receiving the harsh message starts yelling too or becomes quiet and intimidated. This often times leads to conflict in the relationship. I don’t want to create conflict in my relationship with my owner or people around me so I walk away. Once I have settled down I am able to return to the room and can continue to interact with others.
